J Fun Gold Membership Term & Conditions
J Fun Gold membership program is an upgraded membership level of J Fun membership program. To participate in the J Fun Gold membership program, you must first become a J Fun member and have agreed to its membership program terms and conditions. The terms & conditions of J Fun Gold are as follows:
1. Effective Date
J Fun Gold membership program was commenced on 2 December 2024 and these terms and conditions shall be effective on the same date.
2. Application of the Terms and Conditions
2.1 These terms and conditions form the agreement between you, our member, and us, Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd.
2.2 In these terms and conditions, meaning of certain terms shall be as follows:
a1. “JHS” – means shops of Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd in Singapore.
a2. “JHS designated shops” – mean shops of Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd in Singapore.
b. “Online Shopping” – means the purchases made via the website https://www.japanhomeeshop.com/.
c. “J Fun Gold member” – means the Gold member of J Fun Gold membership. After becoming a J Fun member, the J Fun member pays a fee (subject to change from time to time) at any JHS designated shops to apply for a J Fun Gold membership and the membership is valid for 365 days from date of payment and receipt. If the J Fun Gold membership is not extended before its validity period, the J Fun membership will be resumed automatically.
d. “J Cash Rebate” – means the 5% J Cash rebate of a J Fun Gold member’s spending at JHS designated shops. Whereas J Cash is converted to J Cash coupon, the equivalent amount could be deducted in the transaction of the J Fun Gold member with the presentation of the J Cash coupon at JHS designated shops.
3. Registration of J Fun Gold Membership
3.1 To apply for J Fun Gold membership, you must become a J Fun member in advance.
3.2 A J Fun member pays a fee (subject to change from time to time) at any JHS designated shops to apply for a J Fun Gold membership.
3.3 We, JHS, may decline your application under the circumstances as may be determined by us in our sole discretion.
4. The Program, Rewards, and Special Offers
4.1 Every time a J Fun Gold member purchases at JHS with the presentation of the QR code of J Fun, subject to calculation mentioned in clause 4.3 and other restrictions mentioned in these terms and conditions and as determined by us from time to time, the J Cash Rebate will be awarded at the rate of:
n General merchandise including food and drinks: 5% of every SGD1 spent.
n Gift Vouchers of JHS designated shops: one J Cash for every SGD500 spent. (For amount other than SGD500, a pro rata rate of J Cash Rebate will be applied).
n Gift Vouchers of our other companies/ the large electrical appliances of Easy Buy/ seasonal limited merchandises/ plastic bag fee/ delivery charge: not applicable.
4.2 J Cash Rebate will be released in the format of J Cash Coupon in J Fun God members’ respective accounts in designated dates.
(1) For J Cash Rebate earned from the 1st to 15th of a month, J Cash Coupon will be awarded on the 18th date.
(2) For J Cash Rebate earned from the 16th to month end, J Cash Coupon will be awarded on the 3rddate the next month.
(3) Limited to the instability of network connection, for those unconverted J Cash Rebate, it will be released in the next J Coupon release date.
You may check your J Cash balance by logging on to J Fun app.
4.3 If cash coupons and/ or cash vouchers from JHS or other cash coupons and discounts are used during the purchase, J Cash Rebate will be calculated based on the net purchase amount.
4.4 J Cash Coupon is valid to use within 60 days after release. To redeem a J Cash Coupon, the price of the merchandises must be equivalent to or more than the value of the J Cash Coupon (the difference is subject to settlement with any means accepted by our company). More than one J Cash Coupon could be used in a single transaction. J Cash Coupon could only be used at JHS designated shops in the region same as the member’s registered mobile number. J Cash Coupon is not transferrable to others or to other members.
4.5 From time to time, J Cash may not be issued or may not be converted to J Cash Coupon. Notices of such restrictions will be posted at JHS designated shops for your information.
4.6 It is necessary for you to present your J Fun Gold QR code at the point of use (including the earning of J Cash Rebate and the use of J Cash Coupon etc.) in retail shops.
4.7 After upgrading from J Fun member to J Fun Gold member, the J Fun member status in JHS others shops remain the same whereas J Fun Gold status is available at JHS designated shops to enjoy various benefits. Within the validity period of J Fun Gold, J Fun member status is not available for use at JHS designated shops
4.8 After being rewarded J Cash Rebate/ J Cash Coupon and the J Fun Gold member returned the merchandises in the related transactions. The related refund and J Cash Rebate or J Cash Coupon will be adjusted in the refund amount and the related J Fun Gold account. Under no circumstances could J Cash Rebate be converted to cash. For return of merchandises, J Fun Gold QR code must be shown for J Fun Gold members.
4.9 J Fun Gold membership offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion offers.
5. Others
5.1 We may revise or terminate the program at any time without prior notice.
5.2 If a member breaches or JHS, with reasonable grounds, believes that a member is in breach of these terms or condition, we may freeze or terminate the membership account. Related actions may be taken by us for claiming the loss incurring from such violation.
5.3 We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice to you, but the updated version will be presented on our website.
5.4 In case of disputes, JHS reserves the right to make final decision.
6. Personal Data
For the terms of conditions of personal data of J Fun Gold, the same terms of
conditions of J Fun membership apply.
7. Termination or Suspension of Membership
7.1 At any time and for any reason(s), you may terminate your membership by email to info@japanhome.com.sg attention to the customer service dept. of JHS to terminate you J Fun Gold membership. After termination of the membership, all remaining J Cash, stamps, cash coupons, gifts redemption coupons, discount coupons and all outstanding rewards will be forfeited.
7.2 After termination of the membership, we will retain the account information for one year to facilitate follow-up and enquiry. All terminated account information will be destroyed after one year.
7.3 Once the membership account is cancelled and the membership status will be terminated.
7.4 If one wants to re-join the membership, a new account is needed.
7.5 We have the absolute discretion to reject any new user application and terminate any registered user. Under reasonable circumstances, if JHS believe that you have violated any part of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your membership account rights (with or without notice), and/or make claims from you for any damage and loss suffered by JHS and/or JHS’s partners.
7.6 If any member is found to use a mobile phone number that is not actually owned by him/her to register or use the account of this program, we have the right to suspend or terminate the membership of the member, and will cancel the unused J Cash rebates and unredeemed J Cash coupons without further notice.

How to Join?
(a) Simply search & download our J FUN MOBILE APP via Play Store/App Store.
(b) Free registration with lifetime membership.
(c) You only need to flash your Barcode/ quote Member ID as shown on J FUN APP upon any purchase to enjoy the exclusive benefits.
(d) Japan Home Membership is open to applicants aged 18 years old and above.
Can I still earn J Fun points if I forget to show my membership Barcode/ quote Member ID upon payment?
No. The verification mechanism is activated once your membership Barcode / member ID is scanned on our machine during the transaction process and the membership number is read successfully. Even if you may present your Barcode / member ID together with the receipt at a later time, we are unable to credit the points to your account for your previous purchase.
Existing member upgrade to J FUN member?
For existing member, you will need to upgrade to J FUN member in order to enjoy all member privileges. Please check it out on J FUN APP.
- You will need NRIC & contact number as per registered to verify your membership.
Reward Scheme – Earning & Redemption of points
a) How do I earn J Fun (a.k.a point)?
Please flash your Barcode/Member ID upon purchase in order to accumulate J Fun.
– Earn 1 J Fun with every $2 nett spend (rounded down to the nearest point).
– E.g: You get 3 J Fun for spend $7.90; you will get 4 J Fun if you spend $8
– Once you earn 50 J Fun, you’ll are entitled to redeem $2 J Voucher on J Fun mobile app.
*J Fun earned are based on the total amount settled in each purchase. Accumulation of receipts is not allowed.
b) Redemption of J Fun (Under [Redemption] section on mobile app).
– J Fun can be redeemed in your next purchase at the conversion rate of 50 J Fun = $2 J voucher. E.g: If you have 56 J Fun, you eligible to redeem 50 J Fun to get $2 J voucher.
Redemption of J Fun vouchers
J Fun vouchers are valid for ONE month as indicated on the J Fun mobile app and cannot be extended.
Is J Fun points transferable?
J Fun points are non-transferable.
How long is the validity of J Fun?
All J Fun earned in the calendar year will expire on 31 Dec of that year. A bonus of 4 months grace period till 30 April the next year will be given for members to redeem their J Fun.
E.g. J Fun Earned Utilize J Fun by:
1 Jan – 31 Dec 2024 : 30 April 2025
1 Jan – 31 Dec 2025 : 30 April 2026
*All UN-utilized J Fun after expiry date will be forfeited.
Are goods redeemed with J Voucher’s returnable?
When the product redeemed with J Voucher is returned, the J Voucher/J Fun(points) deducted previously will not be refunded. Therefore, we suggest the option of exchanging it with another product of the same value.
How do I check my points accumulated in my account?
You may check on the J FUN MOBILE APP or via the sales receipt you get from each purchase.
How do I inform and update Japan Home on the change in my personal details?
You are able to update your personal info through J FUN MOBILE APP.

JFun Membership Program Terms and Conditions
1. Effective date
These terms and conditions will become effective on the same day.
2. Terms of Use
2.1 These terms and conditions are a contract between you and Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd.
2.2 In these terms and conditions, some specific terms are explained as follows:
a. “JHS” – refers to the Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd retail stores in Singapore.
b. “Online Shopping” – online shopping under Japan Home (Retail) Pte Ltd.
c. “Cash Rebate” – J Fun(s) that accumulated by member can be redeemed for cash rebate at JHS.
d. “Member” – is a member of this program
e. “JFun member” – Someone who downloads the app and register as a member to enjoy privileges as a member.
f. “J Fun/ J Fun(s)” – The membership points earned by members when they purchase at JHS under this program.
3. Membership registration
3.1 To become a member, you must:
a. Download our JFun app on Google Play or the App Store.
b. And provide your personal information and register as a member
3.2. This program is only available to people aged 18 or above.
If you are below 18 years old: you must obtain consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s), their acceptance of the Terms below and their agreement to take responsibility for (i) your actions; (ii) any charges associated with your use of any of the services, software or content provided; and (iii) your acceptance and compliance with the Terms below. If you do not have consent from your parent(s) or legal guardian(s), you must stop using/accessing this Site.
3.3. Your application may be rejected based on JHS’s independent decision.
4. Plans, awards and special offers
4.1 Each time a member shops at JHS retail store or online shopping with their QR code from the JFun app, except for the calculations described in Section 4.3 and other limitations described in these Terms and Conditions, you will get 1 J Fun for every S$2 spent. Spending less than S$2 will not be converted into J Fun.
4.2 J Fun(s) will be updated within 5 working days after the member made a purchase. Members can check their J Fun(s)(points) on the JFun app (mobile app).
4.3 J Fun(s) will be calculated based on the net amount that after all the discount such as the use of cash voucher, gift certificates, coupons or other shopping discounts.
4.4 The J Fun(s) are accumulated from January 1 to December 31 of each year and is valid until April 30 of the following year.
4.5 Some of the designated products, services or offers are subject to J Fun calculation or redemption restrictions, which will be published in JHS.
4.6 When the J Fun(s) reaches the designated amounts, members can redeem for cash rebates via JFun app or any JHS outlets. The exchange rate is 50 J Fun(s) = $2. Each redemption must be an integral multiple of 50 J Fun(s). From time to time, JHS will launch different redemption scheme for customers to utilize different number of J Fun(s).
4.7 In order to earning J Fun(s) and redeeming cash rebates at JHS store, members must present the QR code on their JFun app upon purchases.
4.8 If a member needs to refund or return a purchase or use of the service, the J Fun(s) earned for the purchase will be deducted at the time of refund or return.
4.9 Membership benefits cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
5. Cash rebate terms
5.1 All cash rebates will be deducted immediately when the member purchases and the deduction will be reflected in the JFun account.
5.2 If the member returns the goods after using the cash rebate (whether the cash rebate is used for all or part of the purchase payment), the relative J Fun(s) will be adjusted in the member JFun account during the refund (returning the redeemed J Fun(s) and Deduct the J Fun(s) obtained during the purchase). Cash rebates cannot be redeemed in cash under any circumstances.
5.3 Members must present the QR code in the JFun app when returning from the JHS store.
5.4 In case of any dispute, JHS reserves the right of final decision.
6. JFun member account has been stolen or forget log in details
6.1 If a member suspects that their JFun account has been stolen or has forgotten their password, he/she should contact JHS Customer Service immediately.
6.2 The J Fun(s) of the new JFun member account will be based on the account information recorded by JHS. You may not be able to regain some or all of the J Fun(s).
6.3 JHS is not responsible for any loss suffered during the course of the misappropriation of a JFun member account under any circumstances.
7. Others
7.1 If JHS terminates or changes this program, it will not be notified.
7.2 If a member violates or JHS has reasonable grounds to believe that the member violates these terms and conditions, JHS reserves the right to suspend or terminate the membership and take action to compensate for any loss to JHS caused by the violation.
7.3 If JHS modifies these terms and conditions, it will be updated on the relevant website, but will not notify the members in advance.
7.4 In case of any dispute, JHS reserves the right of final decision.
8. Personal Information
8.1 To become a JFun member, the applicant must provide their personal information; otherwise JHS has the right to reject your application.
8.2 If the applicant does not provide their date of birth, the birthday offer will not be available.
8.3 The applicant’s personal data will be treated confidentially. JHS’s policies and practices regarding the collection, use, storage, disclosure, transfer, confidentiality and access to personal data are in compliance with the laws of Singapore and are set out in Section 8.
8.4 You agree that the personal data you provide to JHS may be used and stored by JHS and/or participating merchants as:
a. Handling your JFun membership application;
b. Provide you with the services of this program;
c. Offer you rewards and offers that are carefully selected by JHS, JHS’s affiliates, JHS’s associates and/or participating merchants. JHS, JHS affiliates, JHS associates and participating merchants may need to conduct a verification process (as defined in the regulations) to enable JHS, JHS affiliates, JHS associates to understand your characteristics and purchases, and to provide you with more services that better suit your needs, assist JHS and participating merchants in selecting items and services that may be of interest to you;
d. By providing you with updated information, including details of this program
e. The management, operation and maintenance of this program
f. Design new services provided by JHS, JHS’s affiliates, JHS’s associates for your use, or to improve existing services;
g. Investigate complaints, suspicious transactions and research service improvement measures;
h. Prevention and detection of crimes;
i. Disclosure under the law;
j. Comprehensive behavioral analysis;
8.5 We intend to use your personal data (including your name, phone number, address, email address and other information you provide to us at the time of JFun member application) for direct marketing purposes (regardless of email, phone, SMS or similar):
a. Offers and promotions offered by us or participating merchants;
b. Offers and promotions provided by our affiliates;
c. We offer and promote other products or services offered to our members in conjunction with third-party merchants:
Please note that we cannot use your personal data as described above unless we have obtained your consent.
8.6 We may disclose and transfer (whether in Singapore or overseas) our company’s right to use, hold, process or retain your personal data for the purposes described in Sections 8.4 and 8.5 above, to agents who are responsible for our confidentiality. , the contractor, and any of our actual or proposed assignees in the event of a merger or transfer (whether an asset or equity) to provide us with management, data analysis, marketing and research, telecommunications services, professional services or other similar services.
8.7 You have the right to:
a. Check if JHS holds any of your personal data;
b. Check your personal information held by JHS;
c. Ask JHS to correct any incorrect personal information;
d. Determine the policies and practices adopted by JHS for personal data and the types of personal data held by JHS;
e. Call the JHS Customer Service Hotline or send a written notice to the address mentioned in section 8.8 below to request that you no longer want to receive direct promotional materials from JHS or participating merchants.
